Arts

Art on Animagica is considered to be a very broad term. It is related to creation and expression - the creation and expression of enriching and valuable speeches, in architecture, drawing and taking pictures, singing, cooking, nature or sounds etc. More precisely: projection and mimicking plants and animals, natural oil colors painted on leaves, colors made of plant extracts, rock or soil, wooden sculptures, fallen natural stuff such as leaves or tiny branches for jewelry, onion and bread villages etc. As there are so many ways to express art on Animagica, we chose to stress only a few subcategories.

Architecture

In order to get a broader picture about the art of building, check the category above named "Housing". There are other admiring constructions built by nature such as spider webs, termite castles, snail shells, birds nests, bee hives, hay houses on trees (e.g. made by sociable weavers), sand castles etc.

Music

Animagical beings feel very satisfied with the sounds of nature, however there are proper bands and songs existing as we know it from Earth, potentially also using instruments such as the piano, saxophone or the violin. But this is quite the exception. Bands or groups usually use their own physiological possibilities, e.g. the woodpecker adding the beat by hitting his beak/pecker against a tree trunk, together with the bee buzzing, a river flow and blackbird vocals. Birds are the most common musicians on land as whales are in the ocean. There are also non-earthly Animagical instruments which are already integrated in the physiology of an organism such as the reindeer harp (strings between antlers - mostly played by insects) or the elephant trumpet (equivalent to trunk). Besides, earthly-known instruments are often made of plants (instead of metal) or sometimes even ice.

Dance, theater and comedy

Dances, theater and comedy can be watched randomly or at certain events. Dancing, for instance, can be admired when watching gallant seagull ballet choreographies in the air, mesmerizing cephalopod acrobatics or astonishingly well synchronized fish and bee choreos. More circus-like motion is displayed by rodents such as squirrels, jumping from tree to tree or ants building bridges with their own bodies. Birds, especially parrots and cockatoos, are well known for their comedic art.

Cuisine

Since all organisms take care well of each other, it is only eaten what is necessary regarding their own very personal nutrient profile. Animals do not eat other animals or interorganic species alive and vice versa. After their natural death, they are welcome to be eaten as it supports the circularity on the planet. Some animals or interorganic species also transform into plants, e.g. deers turning into deer trees. Other than that, beings on Animagica enjoy a plant-based diet as the plant is always the very first source of nutrients when reflecting the food chain.
